Rush Off Road Park is a 7,000 acre facility with over 100 miles of trails located just outside of Ashland in Northeastern Kentucky.
“We can’t wait until the weekend of April 18th,” said park owner E.B. Lowman. “Throwing a rocking concert on top of what we have up our sleeve and this one should be one for the history books!”
The park sits in the Tri-State area with Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia just off Interstate 64. Any off road vehicle is welcome – from dirt bikes to full size vehicles. The Rush trail system consists of trails ranging in difficulty from easy to difficult and a few extreme trails for the expert rider/drivers. The park has plenty of scenic overlooks, small ponds, rock formations, mud holes and acres of acres of woods to enjoy!
The off road park is open 24/7, 365 days a year for permit holders. Permits cost $25 for a day pass, $35 for a week pass or $85 for a season pass. The season runs January 1 – December 31. The only time the permits don’t apply are on special events, such as the upcoming Anniversary Bash. On those special event (“Blackout Dates”) the pricing changes to a per person charge. Primitive camping is welcome, but currently we have no hookups.
“This year our event line up is awesome,” said Lowman. “Along with the mega truck event during our Anniversary Bash, there is also a side by side event and a bouncer event!”
Toward to the end of the summer, Rush will also be having a Woodsbuggy.com series event. “If you haven’t watched some of these rail buggies in action,” said Lowman. “You need to come see the show!”
On labor day weekend, the Southern Rock Racing Series is back in town for the second year in a row. Lowman said, last year was a one to remember and they anticipate another awesome show this year.
“Finally, our annual Turkey Run finishes out the year the day after Thanksgiving” he said. “It is always an awesome day of riding and enjoying the holiday’s!”
